Purpose of the Parallel Co-op Training
Program

A cooperative educational training program is
the joint effort of school and business to provide vocational education for a
student in his/her field of interest. Dow Corning's program consists of
on-the-job training during the school year and is related to the curriculum
taken to obtain either a high school diploma or college degree. The
purpose and intent of this program is to enhance the student's overall
education. Students should not enter this program with the expectation of
full-time employment after graduation from high school or college.

Student's must work with a participating school to obtain a pass code to apply
for co-op positions.
