| I first heard about Dow Corning/ Hemlock Semiconductor
from one of my professors at Delta College. After exhibiting interest, my
professor thoroughly explained the history and future of this company,
including information about Dow Corning’s dedication to increasing renewable
energy resources while maintaining environmentally sound practices. This, along
with the stability and health benefits convinced me to pursue a career within
this company. I have been given the opportunity to expand my horizons and
diversify myself both in and out of work. For example, I am an active member of
the S.M.A.R.T./ Safety committee and frequently participate in the interview
assessment process. It is for all these reasons I feel very fortunate to be an
employee of Dow Corning/HSC. It truly is an exceptional place to work! --
