1. How long does it take to get through the
hiring process?
All steps of the hiring process are contingent on successfully passing the
previous step. The length of time an applicant spends at any given step is
based on business need; however, the maximum time at any step is 2 years.
2. What happens if an applicant is not successful at any step of the
process?
If an applicant fails to successfully complete any step, they are removed
from the hiring process for a period of 2 years. After 2 years, if Dow Corning
is actively seeking external applications they can reapply and start the
process from the beginning. The only exception to this is if an applicant fails
at Step 4; they will still be removed from the process for 2 years, but can
reenter at this step even if the company is not actively seeking external
applicants.
3. What is included on the pre-employment test?
