1.         Midland Site Open House Results (Kevin Campbell)

Kevin reviewed that overall the results were very favorable.  People attending enjoyed seeing where their families worked and enjoyed the bus tours and partaking in the good food.  The product displays were very useful and overall knowledge of material was excellent.  The children’s game and activity area was very popular by our younger visitors.  A special thanks to our CAP panel members who volunteered their time at this event.

2.         Midland Site Vision(Jim Whitlock)

Jim reviewed the key bullet points for sustainability and benefits to the community.  He looked at Midland Site Capital History, Capital Spending, Capital Projections for 2006-09 and many of the major projects that are on target.  He also looked at the Midland Site Employment History Average and how we will continue to focus on Sustainability for the Site.  Six Sigma teams are looking at ways to reduce our steam and energy usage at the Site.  This is a major issue.  The Site will continue a strong focus on Communication and Leadership both internal and external.

3.         Safety & Environmental Updates(Jim Haiser)

Jim reviewed the September Safety Statistics.  This includes OSHA, LTI’s, Spills & releases, Community Notifications and Fires.
