Support for Our Young People
Dow Corning recognizes that all our futures depend on having well educated,
skilled and motivated young people in our society. That’s why we focus much of
our attention on building strong links with schools and educational
establishments in the communities close to our facilities.
We use our skills, our resources and our people to work with teachers and
educators in helping our young people become the responsible citizens and
employees of tomorrow.
Although science and technology are key platforms for our educational
activities, we also believe in giving support to help improve skills such as
team working, problem solving and communications.
In the Interest of Science
Why?
This simple question could launch a child on a career in science. To help
answer "why?" and to encourage children to keep asking questions and
looking for answers, Dow Corning partners with schools around the world,
teaching students how to apply scientific principles in the classroom and with
hands-on activities.
