The Healthcare Industries Materials Site supports the Responsible Care
initiative of the American Chemistry Council. This public program represents
our commitment to the continuous improvement of the health, safety and
environmental performance of not only the employees on our Site, but also in
the community in which we operate.
Community Advisory Panel
This is a panel of local citizens and representatives from Dow Corning
Healthcare Industries Materials Site and the Hemlock Semi-Conductor
Corporation personnel that meet to share information concerning Responsible
Care issues and any other issues relating to Dow Corning and the community.
United Way
The Healthcare Industries Materials Site actively supports the United Way and
its agencies. We also facilitate employee support of its programs.
Education
The Healthcare Industries Materials Site has a long history of support,
partnering and involvement in the local schools. We have a long standing
formal partnership with the Hemlock Public Schools.
