Partnership for Education
A joint effort between the four Midland County School districts and
business through the Midland Chamber of Commerce. Some of the programs include:
Don't' Freak! Speak! A program, which teaches public speaking skills to fifth
grade students. Lunch Box Learners a program which matches business people,
high school students and other community volunteers with first graders to
improve reading skills. Saginaw Valley Regional Summer Educator Institute a
week long experience for regional educators to learn more about the world of
work with hands on activities at local employers.
Midland County Crime Stoppers
We contributed to this program which is aimed at solving crimes in Midland
County.
Midland County Literacy Council
Our contributions have helped the council to assist individuals to achieve
their personal goals through literacy.
