The minutes of the meeting held on September 5, 2000 were accepted. A
change will be made to reflect that Beth Nash was in attendance.

Maureen Donker welcomed Connie Killingbeck as a new panel member replacing
Rosemary Wilson.

Jack Maddox provided an update on the status of the Work Force
Reduction.

Jack Maddox spoke briefly on the Service Unit Concept that will be coming
to Dow Corning. It was suggested that Jack discuss this at the December meeting
when more information is available.

MiOSHA inspection to be completed by Sept. 30, 2000. Results have not been
published to date. ACTION: Jack will update at the November
meeting.

Shelter In Place Video was presented by Kevin Campbell. The video provides
many safety/evacuation features that Dow Corning currently has in place.
Several of these include sirens in the Midland County area and the
1-888-tell-more hotline for information & updates. Copies of the video were
distributed to the CAP panel members.

Kevin gave the panel a demonstration of the Dow Corning website. Panel
members discussed having the CAP minutes on the web.

Suggestions were made to see how students were doing with the curriculum, what
the number of students is and possibly tour the Saginaw facility.
