Community leaders breakfast at the Midland Site. Panel members were asked to
think about what groups might be interested in participating in this (i.e.
Kiwanis, Rotary, etc.) More discussion to follow in April. This presentation
would focus around the Emerging Threat and what we as a Site need to do to be
successful.
1. Midland Tomorrow (Janee Valezquez)
Janee shared a presentation explaining what Midland Tomorrow is and how they
assist both businesses and families within our Community. Their purpose is to
enhance the quality of life in Midland County. They are involved with public
relations concerning downtown development, parks, libraries, water projects,
rail trail, fairgrounds entrance and many other areas that help to promote
Midland County and to help make it a more appealing community to work and live
in.

Bill provided an update on Dow Corning’s sustainability. He reviewed some key
initiatives from 2003 and what we, as a company will continue to do in 2004.

that our employees have. He also reviewed our Code of Business Conduct and the
3-horizons/2-brand strategy. The 2003 Sustainability Report should be
completed sometime in May. A copy will be distributed to CAP members as soon
as it is available.
