The Midland Site contributed funding for a Super Mileage Vehicle to be
entered in the Society of Automotive Engineers competition. The design project
helps students apply engineering concepts and problem solving techniques
learned in the classroom. The previous car placed 7th, obtaining 325 mpg, in a
field of 27 cars.
