As we are a member of the German Chemical Industry Association and the American Chemistry Council, we are committed to environmental beneficial regulations such as the Responsible Care® initiative. Further, we are a member of the Ökoprofit® - Initiative (ecological profit initiative) of the City of Wiesbaden and in the 'Umwelt-Allianz Hessen' (environmental alliance in the federal state of Hesse/Germany).

Ökoprofit Site 2005 - Ecological Project for Integrated Environment Technology Ökoprofit® is a project in cooperation with the Hessian state capital Wiesbaden and local Wiesbaden operations. The common goal is to play a part in future developments within the scope of Agenda 21 and to promote precaution and operational environmental protection. Originally developed in Graz the programme was first used in Munich in 1998/1999. Wiesbaden began using the programme in 2000. It is also financed by the states capital. In the meantime over 70 German cities, communities and counties have implemented Ökoprofit projects. Using workshops and individual consultation on site businesses are being supported with optimization of workflows to be more environment friendly and to reduce costs. Utilization of the programme is on a voluntary basis and relies on initiative of the members.

In addition , we have been certified according to ISO 14001. Following our traditional code of ethics we strongly enhance a safe working place and an environmental-orientated production in many domains, and that even more than requested by the prevailing laws and regulations. We have qualified according to the environmental guidelines, and at the same time our site complies with the high requirements of the TS 14949 certification set by the automobile industry.
