Dow Corning Helps Customer Meet Sustainability Goals

China, new regulations in 2006 meant that a leading electronics supplier in the
region needed to further reduce waste. A Dow Corning silicone, plus expert
advice, helped the customer meet its sustainability goal.
As part of the solution, Dow Corning collaborated with a local equipment
dealer to redesign the customer’s process equipment. The changes resulted
in
increased production and decreased waste, since fewer cartridges are now used
in the manufacturing process. In fact, the customer’s cartridge waste was
reduced by nearly 90 percent!
