Midland Plant
Dow Corning’s Midland manufacturing facility, the Midland Plant, is
literally the birthplace of Dow Corning Corporation, which was founded in
1943 to advance silicon-based materials science.
Known as the “flagship” of the Dow Corning manufacturing line, the Dow
Corning Midland Plant is the oldest, largest and most diversified manufacturing
site in the corporation:

Providing more than 2,500 products to customers in dozens of industries and
countries around the world

Offering employment to more than 1,300 people in the Great Lakes Bay Region
of Michigan
