Dow Corning hosted a lecture entitled “Sustainability: A Lasting
Commitment,” at the Pan-American Advanced Studies Institute (PASI) on
Sustainability & Green Chemistry. The presentation described Dow Corning’s
corporate commitment to the principles of sustainability, illustrated with
specific examples and a discussion on life cycle assessment.

Organized annually by the American Chemical Society, PASI was held at Latin
American University in Mexico City, Mexico during 2007. The program, attended
by graduate students and post doctoral workers from 15 countries, was sponsored
by The National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Energy, and
ExxonMobil Foundation.
