Co-op training program
For college and high school students that are within commuting distance to
our locations, The Dow Corning Parallel Cooperative Education Training Program
provides job-related experience to students while they are attending school.
Dow Corning co-ops are part-time, paid, entry level positions that focus
on providing students with on-the-job training during the school year and is
related to the curriculum taken to obtain either a high school diploma or
college degree. The program provides opportunities to:

Receive on-the-job training from knowledgeable people

Perform useful services for the company

Help finance present and future education

Gain professional experience and knowledge

Enhance independence, responsibility, self-confidence, and other job
skills

Interact with a developed professional network, and learn from seasoned
professionals

Co-op positions are commonly available for majors in:

Chemical, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering

Science Majors (Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biology, etc.)

Students must work with their school co-op coordinator to participate in
this program.
