 | Hemlock Semiconductor Group
The Hemlock Semiconductor Group comprises two joint ventures: Hemlock
Semiconductor Corporation located in Hemlock, Michigan, and Hemlock
Semiconductor, LLC, which is currently under construction at Clarksville,
Tennessee. The companies are joint ventures of Dow Corning Corporation,
Shin-Etsu Handotai and Mitsubishi Materials Corporation. Hemlock Semiconductor
is a leading provider of polycrystalline silicon and other silicon-based
products used in the manufacturing of semiconductor devices and solar cells and
modules. Hemlock Semiconductor began its Michigan operations in 1961 and broke
ground at its Tennessee location in 2009.

Multibase offers a unique portfolio of thermoplastic elastomers, custom
compounds and silicone solutions. Multibase is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow
Corning Corporation.

Site Services, Inc. (SSI) is a Midland-based company that provides technology
services and solutions to business customers. These services include the
design, installation and support of computers, networks, voice and data
cabling, and telephone systems as well as Web application hosting services. SSI
is a wholly owned legal entity of Dow Corning and has been in operation for
over 20 years.

Dow Corning Alabama, based in Montgomery, Ala., is one of the largest producers
of silicon metal in the U.S. Formerly known as Simcala, Dow Corning purchased
the plant in 2003. It was renamed in October 2010. The plant employs
approximately 200 people who manufacture high-grade silicon metal that is used
at multiple sites to produce Dow Corning silicon-based products. Dow Corning
Alabama is a wholly owned subsidiary of Dow Corning.
