Click below for the innovative silicone coating and seam sealing solutions.

Fabric Coatings - Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR)

  • Solventless (100% silicone)
  • Heat-activated platinum-catalyzed addition cure
  • Typically two-part systems
  • Excellent weathering resistance – remains flexible after 20 years of outdoor exposure
  • Very good electrical insulator
  • Stiffening point (ASTM D797) -55°C for most LSRs (down to -100°C for some phenyl LSRs)
  • Chemically inert; highly resistant to water, weak acids and bases, polar solvents and a wide variety of chemicals
  • Deep section cure possible
  • Low friction, flame retardant, high strength, high elongation, UL Grade V-1, dip coating and Oko-tex compliant options available

Room-Temperature-Vulcanizing (RTV) Elastomers

  • One-part, solventless (100% silicone)
  • Moisture cure system
  • Chemical resistance
  • Water resistance; very resistant to liquid, water and soaps
  • Extreme temperature stability
  • Can provide flame resistant
  • Very good adhesion to glass, organic fibers, metal
  • Good tear strength
  • For bonding, sealing, adhering and seam sealing
