The new DEFLEXION™ S-Range material combines the unique properties of
silicones with three-dimensional spacer textiles. The silicone has been
carefully optimized to maximize impact performance at the lowest possible
weight and achieve the highest levels of washability. The openness of the
spacer textile network facilitates a very soft, flexible and breathable
material that is perfect in garments. The excellent breathability of the
S-Range has been shown in physiological testing.
The washability of the new S-Range is exceptionally good with more than 50
washes achievable at 40°C and more than 25 washes possible at 95°C. Coupled
with superior breathability, the S-Range is perfect for garments that are worn
for long periods of time, such as in sports or medical applications.
Unlike bulky hard-armor component systems, DEFLEXION™ protective
textiles can be incorporated directly into garments and accessories to
shield the wearer against high energy impacts. With DEFLEXION™ impact
technology, you can now offer your customers a truly revolutionary advancement
in protective apparel.
