DEFLEXION S-Range Sewing
When you have cut and finished your S-Range high impact textile with an edging material, you are probably looking at ways of joining it with the other materials that make up your product. Sewing offers a range of design possibilities. There are numerous ways to join S-Range textiles to other materials by means of sewing. The easiest way to attach prepared DEFLEXION™ S-Range parts to your product is via a pouch or cavity where you simply slide in the S-Range part. However, many other designs, including making S-Range visible, are feasible by sewing. Avoid stitching S-Range prepared parts directly to other materials, as this will slow down the manufacturing process and may reduce flexibility. Instead we suggest you sew the prepared pieces to other materials via the edging system, a very handy solution that also allows designers to create multi layered pieces or join multiple pieces side by side. If you have a specific concept not shown here please get in touch to discuss possibilities.

In the simplest terms, edged S-Range textiles can be sewn straight onto a base layer fabric.Alternatively, the DEFLEXION™ textile can be sewn into a pouch, Should it be desirable to keep the material visible, a window can be added to the pouch.
