I’m thin for aesthetic reasons, but my properties and protection are huge.
Spray me on, and I’ll add a softer touch, enhanced texture, or improved grip to
virtually any surface. I’m changing the face of products everywhere.

01
USAGE
Conformal
Coatings are currently used in automotive electrical components for
reliable protection in harsh environments. Design concepts include: targeted
surface enhancement (plastics, metal) in boating, sport vehicles and
aerospace.

02
AESTHETIC PROPERTIES
Transparent or readily pigmented, Conformal Coatings can
range soft, flexible and gripping to tougher, more abrasion resistant. Coatings
may be thin to thick.

03
MATERIAL PERFORMANCE
Conformal
Coatings offer excellent coating integrity, color retention and
dimensional stability. They provide excellent protection from moisture,
contamination (dust, dirt) and extreme temperatures (-45 to 200°C).

04
PROCESSING
Conformal
Coatings are one or two part products that can be manually or
automatically applied by spraying, dipping, brushing or needle dispensing. Cure
times and conditions vary (room temperature, moisture, heat accelerated). They
are available in various viscosities, can be easily handled (tack free
versions) and reworked. Some surfaces may require priming.

05
SUSTAINABILITY
Conformal
Coatings are generally non-toxic, contain no heavy metals and extend the
product life of a coated device. Solventless and low VOC variations are
available. Room temperature cure reduces energy consumption.

06
COST
Conformal
Coatings offer comparable benefits to high performance organic polymers
with a lower total cost of ownership due to ease of processing and, depending
on the application, reduced warranty costs.
