Flexible Impact Protection has been used in motorcycle protection. Design concepts include: high performance apparel (sports padding and protection), medical device (body protection), industrial & geo-fabrics (packaging & protection) and construction (energy absorbent flooring, sound dampening).
bullet 02 AESTHETIC PROPERTIES
A vailable in white or tinted to a custom color, Flexible Impact Protection is a customizable, three dimensional fabric that is lighter & thinner than many systems. It is also quiet in motion.
bullet 03 MATERIAL PERFORMANCE
Flexible Impact Protection absorbs & dissipates energy, greatly reducing impact forces; has tunable force absorption, is flexible, breathable and allows freedom of movement, is stable from -20°C to 40°C with no loss of performance.
bullet 04 PROCESSING
Flexible Impact Protection is available on rolls with a release liner. It can be cut into any desired shape, built up in layers for extra protection, and integrated into garments. Cutting techniques include: die cutting, scissors, and laser cutting. Recommended sewing techniques include: piping the edges, over-lock stitching. Attaching the material to the outside of a garment is not advised.
