When other materials start to crack and go down the tubes, I stand up to harsh
environments and extremes in temperature. I stay flexible no matter what you
throw at me, so I'm perfect for health care, food processing, water transfer,
and more.

01
USAGE
Silicone
Tubing and molded assemblies are currently commercialized for
biopharmaceutical manufacturing fluid transfer and food & beverage
applications. Design concepts include: fluid transfer applications requiring
flexibility, high pressure, extreme temperatures and chemical resistance
(hardware, plumbing, outdoor products).

02
AESTHETIC PROPERTIES
T ranslucent to opaque, with optional pigrmenting, Silicone Tubing can be
produced in a range of lumen shapes, multiple lumens, or molded with silicone
connections to form a manifold. Its surface has a smooth inner / outer bore and
can be supplied in a wide range of sizes from < 0.010” to > 1” inside
diameter.

03
MATERIAL PERFORMANCE
Silicone
Tubing offers a range of hardness (durometer) and flexibility (high
elongation, UV / crack resistance), is stable over a wide temperature range and
resists chemicals. It is water repelling, non-reactive and biologically inert
(does not support microbial growth).

04
PROCESSING
Silicone
Tubing can be supplied as a cured article, be marked (printing on tubing
with black ink) or have a stripe within the tubing (using co-extrusion).

05
SUSTAINABILITY
Silicone
Tubing offers long life and contains no peroxide by-products,
chlorophenyl or PCBs.

06
COST
Silicone
Tubing costs are competitive and vary depending on size &
complexity.
