Textiles are lightweight, highly breathable and have a soft shell with
superior feel. They provide all-weather comfort and retain body heat in wet
weather.

Weather Resistant
Textiles offer excellent weather resistance (windproof, water repellent,
UV / abrasion resistant, tear strength) without sacrificing comfort or
packability (small & light). Tiny “micro holes” let water vapor escape
without allowing outside water and wind to penetrate. These fabrics are fast
drying and incredibly durable, providing long lasting performance
wash-after-wash.

Textiles can be made from cotton, synthetic, blended or stretch woven
fabrics by encapsulating the fibers with a silicone barrier “inside” the
fabric, not just on the surface like conventional methods (laminating, coating,
durable water repellents).
