Dow Corning OS Fluids
These low odor, ultra pure, linear volatile methlsiloxane (VMS) fluids were developed for use as cleaning agents in the most demanding applications, such as hard drives, circuit boards, electronic displays, close tolerance precision equipment, and wherever sensitive substrates are used.
Dow Corning OS Fluids are environmentally friendly solvent replacements; the “OS” stands for “ozone safe”. They are exempt from federal VOC regulations and included on the EPA’s list of acceptable electronics cleaning substances. They can be used to clean circuit boards, dilute silicone conformal coatings and gels, and clean mixing and dispensing equipment. They will even swell and lift most silicone coatings and gels for repair work.
