Dow Corning® Conformal Coatings are supplied in a variety of standard packages ranging from small bottles or cans to mid-sized pails or even drums and totes. Collapsible bladder packs are also available that avoid air in the headspace above the liquid coating. This avoids a number of problems that can occur when using pressure to dispense the coatings. Moisture, which can cause problems for the RTV Elastomeric or RTV Elastoplastic Coatings, is excluded and eliminates the need for dry air for pressurization. It also eliminates bubbles which can occur from direct pressurization on the liquid coating.
One of these standard packages will likely be right for your process, whether you are coating a few circuits or have a high volume continuous process. But if there are special needs for your situation, talk to us about custom packaging options from Dow Corning or one of our authorized repackagers.
All of Dow Corning’s conformal coatings are designed for many months of storage under the recommended conditions. Storage in humid or other wet conditions should be avoided for the RTV Elastomeric or RTV Elastoplastic Coatings. And warm storage above about 90F should not be used for the Solventless Heat Cure Coatings.
