Dow Corning ® silicone gels generally possess the following characteristics:

• Ultimate stress relief in a cured, non-flowing material
• Excellent unprimed adhesion
• Low viscosity for easy and rapid room temperature dispensing
• Minimal shrinkage during cure
• No heat generated (no exotherm) during cure
• No solvents or cure by-products
• Deep section cure
• Repairable
• Excellent dielectric properties
• Cures in confinement
• Service range of –45 to 150C (-49 to 302F)
• Low toxicity

• Fast RT cure
• Very rapid UV cure
• One part formulation with no need for mixing
• High optical transmission values
• Enhanced strength in toughened gels
• Color tinting for easy inspection and identification of separate components in two part formulations
• Solvent and fuel resistance

• UL flammability classification
• Controlled volatility/low extractables
• Extreme low temperature performance
