Gel Applications

Silicone gels are particularly useful in providing protection to electronics and electrical devices in moist and other severe environments, in insulating from high voltage, and in providing a low stress environment. They can be for primary or secondary environmental protection/passivation and can be applied directly over most other silicone coatings and adhesives.

They can be considered for encapsulation of:

• A broad spectrum of electronics from micro devices to large modules, especially for underhood automotive applications

• High voltage electrical components

• Outdoor lighting modules

• Electrical coils

• LED’s
