Plasma Treatment

Physical pre-treatment can improve the bond strength of the adhesive significantly.

Plasma Treatment - The surface is bombarded with ionized gas, which cracks carbon bonds.
  • The temperature of cold plasma is about 300 degrees C
  • Results in significantly better wetting of the adhesive
