Due to their high strength and flexibility, these mold making silicone
rubbers are especially useful in art foundry applications such as in lost wax
casting of sculpture.
Silastic® 3481 and 3483 (in Europe and in Asia) and Dow Corning® HS II and
HS III (in the US) are recommended for this application because of their high
strength and their flexibility.
