WHAT: Don Buchalski, Senior Marketing Specialist for Dow Corning’s Solar Business, will discuss the role of a material supplier in driving down PV cost and improving profitability with a case study on the company’s recent commercialized breakthrough solar cell encapsulation technology at Greentech Media’s 2010 Solar Summit in the session entitled, “Optimizing Business Models for PV Manufacturing.” The presentation will highlight benefits of the new silicon-based encapsulant series including improved performance of solar panels and lower cost per kilowatt-hour of solar power.
