Master Distributor to Sell XIAMETER Brand Rubber Products in Europe

The XIAMETER® brand from Dow Corning has appointed Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH as its master distributor for silicone rubber products in Europe.

“As part of our effort to serve customer needs better, we are pleased to announce that Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will be expanding its capabilities for local inventory and service,” said Ivan Mini, rubber global product market manager for the XIAMETER® brand. “Biesterfeld Spezialchemie will help customers achieve success in a competitive business environment by providing more XIAMETER brand products along with additional service, support and value.”

XIAMETER® brand rubber available through Biesterfeld Spezialchemie include high consistency rubber (HCR) bases and compounds, fluorosilicone rubber bases and compounds, liquid silicone rubber (LSR), and room-temperature vulcanizing (RTV) moldmaking elastomers. Silicone rubber is used in industries and applications ranging from general rubber fabrication to high-voltage electrical distribution, automotive, consumer goods, bakeware and infant care.

By expanding European distribution with XIAMETER brand silicone rubber products, Biesterfeld Spezialchemie is strengthening its presence in the European market and reinforcing its successful business relationship with Dow Corning.

“Based on the success we’ve shared in the past, we are excited to work with Biesterfeld Spezialchemie in this expanded capacity,” Mini said.
