Color Your Facade - with ETAG-Approved Structural Glazing and Insulating Glass Color Range from Dow Corning

New and harmonized colors are now available for two component Dow Corning® 3362 Silicone Insulating Glass Sealant, Dow Corning® 993 Silicone Structural Glazing Sealant and one part Dow Corning® 895 Silicone Structural Glazing Sealant

Dow Corning is pleased to announce an enhanced and harmonized color line up for their market leading range of structural glazing and insulating glazing silicone sealants. This improvement permits architects and specifiers to consider a broader range of design possibilities where color choice for structural and secondary edge sealing is important. In addition, these new colors match complementary materials, such as butyl, used in window construction.

The new color range is as follows:

• Black
• White
• Light Grey
• Middle Grey
• Dark Grey
• Custom colors (on request)
  

ETA Approval for structural applications

All of these colors (including custom colors in any shade between black and white) have been approved by the EOTA for structural applications:

• Dow Corning® 993 Silicone Structural Glazing Sealant - ETA-01/0005
• Dow Corning® 3362 Silicone Insulating Glass Sealant - ETA-03/0003, EN1279
  

On top Dow Corning offers a range of compatible, proven silicone weatherproofing sealants which are available in matching shades.

Easy and fast switch of colors in production lines

Dow Corning would also like to introduce a complementary new cleaning material for flushing the catalyst elements of manual and automatic two-component pump dispensing equipment. Dow Corning 3535 Catalyst Cleaner offers a quick and easy cleaning solution, particularly when a fast switch over of different color catalysts is needed.
