Dow Corning named a Working Mother 100 Best Company for leadership on creating family-friendly policy and culture
Midland, Michigan–Dow Corning Corporation was
named one of the Working Mother 100 Best Companies for the eighth consecutive
year.
Working Mother magazine recognized Dow Corning for its wide array of
progressive workplace programs, including flexible work arrangements, new
mentoring and coaching for women professionals, adoption assistance up to
$6,000 and six weeks of paid leave, support for parents of children with
special needs, paid time off for new dads, and community grants to child care
providers, nominated by employees, to purchase equipment to enhance early
learning and physical fitness.
