Improved release of concrete paver blocks from rubber molds
Meeting Release Needs in the Production of Decorative Concrete
Parts
Concrete blocks, molds and castings are increasingly used for decorative
masonry construction. Poor release of concrete from molds can cause damaged
blocks, inconsistent results and wasted materials.
Dow Corning® 2418 Release Emulsion is an easy-to-use , solvent-free
aqueous emulsion with proven performance in the release of concrete from
rubber molds . Usage can lead to increased productivity and on-time
delivery with reduced inventory and disposal costs.
Fewer paver blocks are damaged when they come out of the mold with
the use of Dow Corning® 2418 Release Emulsion . Less concrete
wasted leads to less concrete to dispose of, providing real savings. The
emulsion helps cut the cost of production without affecting the ability of the
concrete pavers and other parts to be painted or coated .
