Dow Corning Experts to Present Solar Solutions and Policy Recommendations at Intersolar North America 2009
Dow Corning experts will make the following three presentations highlighting
silicone technology for solar applications and the policies needed to make
solar power a viable and competitive energy source in the U.S. at Intersolar
2009 on July 13:

10:05-10:30 a.m. -- Stephen Swanson, Field Application Engineer,
will present “Silicon Chemistry Playing Pivotal Role in PV Production” in the
session “Challenges in Crystalline Silicone Manufacturing.”

2:40-3:05 p.m. -- Gaetan Borgers, Global Solar Industry Director,
will present “Silicone Encapsulation Material and Manufacturing Process at
Industrial Scale” in the session “Challenges in Crystalline Silicone
Manufacturing.”

3:40-4:00 p.m. -- Marie Eckstein, Corporate Vice President and Chief
Administrative Officer, will present “Making America a 21st Century
Solar Power” in the session “The Role of Public Policy in U.S. PV Market
Development.”
