Dow Corning experts will make the following three presentations highlighting silicone technology for solar applications and the policies needed to make solar power a viable and competitive energy source in the U.S. at Intersolar 2009 on July 13:

• • 10:05-10:30 a.m. -- Stephen Swanson, Field Application Engineer, will present “Silicon Chemistry Playing Pivotal Role in PV Production” in the session “Challenges in Crystalline Silicone Manufacturing.”
  • 2:40-3:05 p.m. -- Gaetan Borgers, Global Solar Industry Director, will present “Silicone Encapsulation Material and Manufacturing Process at Industrial Scale” in the session “Challenges in Crystalline Silicone Manufacturing.”
  • 3:40-4:00 p.m. -- Marie Eckstein, Corporate Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, will present “Making America a 21^st Century Solar Power” in the session “The Role of Public Policy in U.S. PV Market Development.”
