Dow Corning Launches Silanes Website
A
new website from Dow Corning provides product, application and solution
information on a full range of silanes, which can be used as adhesion
promoters, coupling agents, crosslinking agents, hydrophobers and surface
modifiers. At www.dowcorning.com/silanes
customers can explore the chemistry of silanes and learn which product

New
Technical Information Center Serves Europe and Asia
With the launch of its Technical Information Center (TIC) in Shanghai,
China, earlier this year, Dow Corning became the first company in the
chemical industry to deliver multi-lingual, around-the-clock technical
service to customers around the globe. The first Dow Corning TIC was launched
at the company headquarters in Midland, Michigan, in 2001. You may contact

Dow Corning to exhibit at EUROPEAN COATINGS SHOW 2005 Dow
Corning will exhibit at the EUROPEAN
COATINGS SHOW taking place April 26-28, 2005, in Nürnberg, Germany.
The show, held every two years, is the leading exhibition for the international
coating and paint industry. At the last event in 2003, over 16,000 trade
visitors from 85 countries sourced information on the production of coatings,
paints, sealants, construction chemicals and adhesives from 646 exhibitors.
Dow Corning presents paper at Paint
and Coatings Expo (PACE) 2005 Lisa A. Honaman of Dow Corning
will present a paper entitled "Improved Flexibility of Bis-Phenol
A Epoxy Paint by Crosslinking with Amino-Functional Siloxane Resin"
at PACE 2005 on January 26 from
11-11:30 a.m. in the Coatings Session, Track 4. The paper was co-authored
by Honaman, Coatings Application Engineering/Technical Service, and Gerald
L. Witucki, Dow Corning industry specialist. PACE will be held January
23-26, 2005, at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
