Improve process stability and compounding productivity while achieving better filler dispersion with
this functional siloxane LOI enhancer for low smoke, halogen-free wire and cable material. This
functional siloxane additive has been developed to improve compatibility of fillers such ATH/MDH
with organic polymers such as thermoplastic resins or rubber. This amphiphilic additive transforms
hydrophilic substrate to that of hydrophobic. Benefits include enhancement of LOI and lower smoke,
in halogen-free flame-retardant formulations for applications such as wire and cable.
