Dow Corning Plasma Solutions’ equipment platforms are designed to help meet
your specific manufacturing needs and can process materials in any form or
geometry, including flexible web, fiber/filament, 3D, and rigid sheet.
These systems offer our proprietary APPLD (atmospheric pressure plasma liquid
deposition) processing technology, super-functional coatings, and
customized surface properties to help meet your needs in multiple applications
and markets.
Our equipment platforms come in two varieties:

Large-Area APPLD which generates wide coating plasma with long path
length for processing flexible webs such as textiles, non-wovens, paper, films,
foils, fiber, thread, yarn, and filament.

Jet APPLD which generates jets of coating plasma for
processing 3D and rigid sheet materials, and flexible material in
fiber/filament form.
With our proprietary electrode geometry and system design,
patented APPLD process, and wide choice of liquid precursors (as well as the
ability to run the systems without liquid precursors, using only gas-state
feedstock), Dow Corning Plasma Solutions equipment platforms enable you to use
advanced plasma processing technology for greatly enhanced quality,
versatility, and reliability in your manufacturing operations.
