Specify the right elastomer
For high voltage ignition wire and spark
plug cables, we recommend a high consistency rubber (HCR) elastomer
with a durometer between 50 and 70 Shore A, which can withstand temperatures as
high as 260º C (500º F) and is able to be easily continuous-fed into extruder
for either CV or HAV cure systems.
