expertise fields through which our industry-recognized experts can help
you develop innovative and disruptive technologies.
Synthesis
The Synthesis team designs and implements cost-effective, modern silane
manufacturing processes and valuable products to match the needs and
specifications of our customers including all aspects of sustainability
("Green Chemistry") and safety.

The Filler team provides technical solutions through innovation and concept
evaluation in silane-filler science by discovering disruptive technologies and
developing the understanding of the process/material structure/properties
relationship of filler-coupling agent systems with an emphasis on filler
contribution.

Reinforcement
The Reinforcement team pushes the boundaries of today's knowledge of
reinforcement technologies by discovering understanding the process/material
structure/properties relationship of filler-coupling agent-polymer matrix
systems with a focus on interface/interphase design.

Adhesion
The Adhesion team provides technical solutions through innovation and new
concept evaluation, emphasizing the importance for understanding the nature and
the structure of the interphase, which forms between two dissimilar materials
(plastics, metals, organic resins, etc.).
Examples of skills and expertise gathered within the team are:

Room-temperature-vulcanization (RTV) technologies, both condensation and
addition cure systems, as well as silicone reactive hot-melt

Plastics and Rubber
Engineering
The Plastics and Rubber Engineering team innovates and engineers new
composites with outstanding properties for both current and future market
needs.
Examples of skills and expertise gathered within the team are:

linking, filled composites

Plastic and rubber processing (injection molding, extrusion blow molding,
thermoforming, rotomolding, fibers spinning ...)

To support our activities and provide relevant data to end-users, the
Plastics and Rubber application cell has in-house capabilities offering
twin-screw extruders, Banbury mixers, compounding and testing equipment.
