PV Cell Coatings

For PV cell and substrate applications, Dow Corning offers protective coatings specifically designed to provide the excellent durability and abrasion resistance required for solar consumer products.  Dow Corning® 1-2577 Low VOC Coating can be used for cell protection and provides the following benefits:

  • Very low volatile content
  • Conformal coating
  • Transparent layer
  • Easy to apply
  • Continuous processing

Dow Corning® 1-2620 Low VOC Conformal Coating can be used for cell protection and is a low viscosity version of 1-2577 for consumer products applications.
