Food processing plants rely on rotary screw compressors to provide power for hand equipment. Mineral oil is conventionally used but it has a limited life span and a high percentage of impurities which builds up inside the compressors.
The plant switched to Molykote L-1200FG. The synthetic oil does not degrade, due to its greater purity and inherent oxidation stability, resulting in improved lubrication and the virtual elimination of varnish buildup within the compressors.
