The Dow Corning Difference

Shower and Bath

A family of dimethicone copolyol waxes has been examined for use in personal care formulation. Unlike most silicone fluids or gums, which are incompatible with water and inorganic oils and waxes, these materials are water-soluble. In formulations, they can be used to provide characteristics such as enhanced foaming or humectancy. Toxicological tests of the materials demonstrate acceptable profiles for personal care ingredients.
